1. Wake up 20 minutes earlier than normal ~ early risers have been proven to be more organised and productive. Make sure alarn clock is not within reach.
2. Plan a big task for the week. And focus on just that the entire week ~ prioritise tasks.
3. Read something funny and LOL ~ Laughter is the best medicine lighten up a lil ; youdeserve it. "If you can find humuor in anything you can survive it."
4. Set aside a holy hour just for yourself ~ devoted to personal development, this precious hour spent on being inspired will make a difference and give you time to think of what you want out of life.
5. Pay your bills promptly
6. Show up at least 5 minutes early for appointments ~ be the preson wwaiting patiently for a change and see what a different and better feeling it actually is. It gives you more control over your day and your commitments.
7. Clear your work desk and keep it clutter-free
8. Volunteer for a day ~ doing good makes you feel good about yourself and it also feels good to just make someone's day.
9. Eat raw veggies ~ Feed your body with essential nutrients. Notice how you feel much lighter and more energetic when you have a salad for much, compared to something fired and greasy.
10. Take a power nap ~ keep the nap between 15 to 30 minutes as sleeping longer can make us harder to wake up (leaves you feeling groggy and ven more tired)
11. Give someting away ~ charity
12. Say "Thank you" to a stranger ~ being thankful is good for the soul. Grateful people are often more content because they don't spent time comparing themselves with others.
13. Exercise an extra 10 minutes today ~ Run a lil bit longer, take the stairs instead of the evevator, to really get that heart rate going so your body can benefit from the extra oxygen being pumped throughtout.
14. Make time to eat a healthy breakfast ~ the most important meal of the day as it gives you the fuel for the day. Skip it, and you will feel lethargic and tired, and worse, overeat later.
15. Empty your closet and toss what you don't need
16. Make the bed as soon as you get up ~ one of the quickest step steps to be an organised person. Start off the day by feeling producitve, disciplined and effiient first thing in the morning.
17. Tke a deep breath ~ focus on inhaling and exhaling.
18. Stay away from computer for 24 hours ~ less hours doing other things like reading or spending some quality time alone. Go for a walk, read a book, have fun with friends, get some fresh air and natural light. Also, you are likely to experience some level of "brain freeze" - where mind goes bumb, eyes are strained and back aches. Whatever it is, no FB for you!
19. Replace has-beens ~ letters from high school crushes? Burn them! The point is to remove things that don't matter anymore so that you can have newer fand better] things in your life.
Holding on to the past has never brought any good to anyone, so why should you be doing it?
Belng able to leave the past behind allows you to focus on the present so that you can embrace a new future. Leave what's behind where it belongs - in the past.
20. Spoil yourself
21. Stop multi-tasking ~ give your 100 percent focus to completing just one task before you move on to the other.
22. Empty your handbag ~ take out what's unnecessary.
23. Turn off the phone for a day
24. Do less for a day ~ there aren't ever enough hours in a day, and trying to excel in everything is bound to drive you in one direction - downwards, and into depression, especially when you don'i live up to your own expectations! Wanting it all cannot be done; instead, concentrate on
wanting what's important - spending time with loved ones and doing things you enjoy.
25. Take a look in the mirror and tell yourself something good ~ send 15 minutes in front of a mirror and tell yourself the things you like. Saying positive things encourages yourself and increases your self-esteeml So go ahead, tell that person in the mirror what's great about you. Positive affirmation works. It replaces your negative thoughts with helpful ones. The more time you spend moving away from negative thoughts, the more time you can spend focusing on your strengths and how to realise your dreams.
26. Do something fun with someone you like
27. Lose an argument ~ there are more important things to think about besides who's right or wrong. "To be happy, there is no such thing as one and only one correct perspective. The best way to get what you want is to stop being right."
28. Sleep an hour earlier ~ being a night owl has many disadvantages - you are robbing your body of healthy sleep, causing your mind to lose focus and concentration from lack of sleep.
Sleep helps to repair your body, keeps your heart healthy, reduces stress, improves your memory, boosts productivity. Sleeping properly also help you control your body weight and slow down the process of ageing.
29. Meditate, 5 or 30 minutes ~ close your eyes and focus on breathing. Let whatever thoughts comes to mind. The idea is to be calm and relaxed.
